Worship Choir
Our worship choir meets on Wednesday nights at 7:45. We
do a wide variety of music from Hymn Arrangements to Southern Gospel to Praise
and Worship . We lead in worship every Sunday morning and present special music
at least two times a month. We also present a large Christmas program each year
and do extra music for Easter.
JoySong
JoySong is a mixed adult ensemble doing a blended style
of Praise and Worship songs with Gospel and Hymns. We mostly sing for worship
on Sunday Mornings and a couple of special concerts here at the church a year.
This is a group of singers that you either have to be able to read music or
sing a part very well by ear. We meet for rehearsal on Sunday nights at 5:45,
and we usually take the summer off starting in June.
Men of Joy
Men
of Joy is an ensemble generally a double quartet, singing a lot of Southern
Gospel, such as Gaither Vocal Band, Cathedrals and such. We have performed the
national anthem at several venues including the Lexington Legends baseball
games. We meet at 4:45 on Sunday nights.
JuBELLant
Ringers
The
JuBELLant Ringers is our hand bell group under the leadership of Monica
Drury. They generally play for worship once a month and present a Christmas
and Spring Concert. There are eleven ringing spots in this group.
